On Sunday, June 14, the Walk & Learn tour was held, during which participants had a great opportunity to test our application directly in the field and experience the city’s heritage in a completely new way.
While walking through the streets, participants were able to use the app on-site to discover fascinating historical stories. The route included all key locations: the Sukat Shalom Synagogue, “Magazin 1907” Cafeteria, the Jewish Community of Belgrade, the Jewish Cultural Center, as well as the site where the Old Synagogue of Belgrade once stood.
The application turned an ordinary walk into a true exploration, demonstrating in practice how technology can make sightseeing far more engaging. In addition to what participants followed on their screens, the on-site atmosphere was enriched by live music performed by Nikola Salaćanin Albahari.
This practical testing of the Walk & Learn application was successfully carried out as part of the regular walking tour “In Search of Jewish Belgrade,” organized in cooperation with the Jewish Community of Belgrade and the Cervantes Institute.
